On March 8th, 2023, We not only celebrate all the wonderful women in our lives but we also recognize all the important issues that women survive on a daily basis. International Women’s day is a global holiday celebrated as a focal point in the women’s rights movement, bringing awareness to issues such as reproductive rights, gender equality, and violence & abuse against women. In the early 1900s, the only role women had in events was sitting on top of a car at the annual auto show. We were used as decor items to no doubt help the male bosses close sales and look really, really good. Now in 2023 we are able to actually experience working with teams full of women from all different backgrounds. We see them producing and running events, leading their brand, while also managing a whole team. To say we have overcome so much within the event industry is an understatement, the continuation of unique contributions and the progress being made by women is sensational. We will remain as the backbone of the industry while striving for nothing but success.
